PREMIERE OF THIRD FLOOR AT TRAFALGAR STUDIOS

The thriller Third Floor will star Craig Gazey and Emily Head at the Trafalgar Studios with previews from 11th October, opening on 13th October to 5th November.

The play is about a young women happily living alone in her first flat where she meets her brash, overbearing neighbour, who she can’t help but find strangely attractive. When an innocent prank goes horribly wrong, the friendship is pushed to breaking point and the neighbours begin to realise they don’t know as much about each other as they thought.

Written by award winning playwright Jason Hall, this is the play's European premiere and will be directed by Russell Labey who also directed Nicholas Hoult at the Trafalgar Studios in New Boy in 2009.

Craig Gazey will be well known to TV viewers of Coronation Street which he left earlier this year after 3 years winning several awards along the way to concentrate on stage work saying he wanted to try new roles.  He has appeared on stage previously in The Tempest, Antony and Cleopatra and Julius Caesar at the RSC and Harvest at the Royal Court.

Emily Head is also well known to TV viewers from comedy drama The Inbetweeners and the subsequent film adaptation which is currently in cinemas.

Currently playing at Trafalgar Studios 2 is new comedy musical Betwixt!, which ends its extended run on 10 September with the play When Did You Last See My Mother by Christopher Frampton following until 8th October.
